If only the creator, Ryemanni, actually accepted help from the community instead of calling it a "finished product".	Rayman: Into the Polyworld	The DLC for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope was a neat experience for everyone. For those unaware of the Rayman series, it just felt like an expansion to the level design and gameplay of SOH, but for long-time fans of the series, it felt like a giant wave of references and fan-service. I heavily dislike Captain Laserhawk. It wasn't written very well, it try too hard to be edgy, and it butchers the main idea of the characters it's portraying. The character of Rayman/Ramon in the series is an embarrassment to the community and has done nothing but open the floodgates for edgy 14 year olds to enter our community. And no, Rayman shouldn't be in a relationship with a frog.	I actively look forward to it every year. As for Captain Laserhawk, haven't watched it and I don't care, because I like Rayman, but I'm not that kind of fan that takes every bullshit that has Rayman in it (not saying the show is bullshit, just not my kind of thing, and having Rayman in it will not make me change my mind about it). Not the most ideal way of experiencing Rayman related content, but the character himself in both the DLC and Netflix show seems to match with his personality and ideals, even if Laserhawk as a show leaves much to be desired. Within the Cyberpunk genre, Captain Laserhawk is neither the best nor the worst animated series: it's okay, it's entertaining, and it serves its purpose. I'm curious to see what happens in the second season. Although the representation of Rayman has nothing to do with what we have seen in the games. I think it has done a better homage to Rayman than the 10 years of UbiArt games we've had. It's true that lore has never been the strong point of Rayman games, but what you see in Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends is an aberration. RO and RL are very beautiful games, with very well designed game mechanics, but their background is null and void. In the 6 chapters of Captain Laserhawk, Rayman has more personality and more character development than we've seen in the last 10 years. Obviously, the plot is much more mature and adult than in the games, but it has been really interesting to see a different approach and I have to admit that the result is much better than expected. Finally, I have to say that I find ridiculous the fanfics they are doing with Bullfrog and Rayman together... Why do people have the need to sexualize absolutely everything? Captain Laserhawk was a refreshing take on the Rayman IP and while it's quite a shock at first, Rayman's character development was interesting and the show felt very respectful of the series. It takes the more lighthearted and cartoony feel of Rayman 1, but still has environments and atmosphere that rival Rayman 2's (The Fairy Council is truly magical...when Murfy's not flapping his gob, The Summit Beyond the Clouds remains my absolute favourite snow level in the series.) The UbiArt series in some ways built off the tone of Rayman 3, even if they did go a bit too far into the wacky-zany aspect for my tastes. The combat and core gameplay is a lot more solid, building off of what Rayman 2 did to create a game where the movement is generally really solid and smooth, and the combat is a joy to run through, Rayman's moveset isn't exactly expansive, but it still encourages trying to chain attacks to keep the combo points going, and also keep a nice sense of momentum and flow.
