It could have done a few things better, of course (like a few missing animations and objects, or the original bonus levels not being included), but it improves Rayman 1 in nearly every way possible. I love the original and it used to be the best Rayman game for me despite its flaws, and Redemption made the experience way better. The levels are fun and easier while still retaining enough challenge (while fixing what used to be unfair), bosses both old and new are incredible (especially the last ones), and plenty of new things come to massively enrich the game.
